This chicken uses French old flavored mustard that contains mustard seeds and wine, it’s a very special mustard and it’s very good, it also contains lemon juice and garlic; it’s very easy to make and very tasty! You have to cook the chicken breast with a little bit of water and with the lid on in order to have a moist result. Nevertheless, you need to serve immediately because if it gets cold then you lose the moist! It’s made rapidly and it’s very efficient :)
If you cannot find the French old flavored mustard (which is a pity but then only some of us live in France !), you can try it with some mild or even sweet mustard, I have not tried myself but the idea pleases me a lot :-)“In order to be always good, the others need to understand that they cannot be evil to us without punishment”.

Ingredients
- 1 chicken breast (~140gr)
- ½ lemon
- ½ teaspoon of French old flavored mustard with seeds (or any other mild or sweet mustard)
- ½ clove of garlic
- 1 teaspoon of olive oil
- 1 pinch of fleur de sel or coarse salt
- 3 turn mills of Kampot black pepper
- 15ml of water
Steps
- Slice the chicken breast in small cubes
- Dice the garlic in small cubes as well
- Press the lemon et get the lemon juice in a bowl
- Add the mustard into the lemon juice and stir with a fork
- Heat-up a pan
- Add the olive oil
- Add the garlic and stir until it becomes deep brown in color
- Add the chicken cubes and stir in until they get some color
- Add the mustard/lemon sauce and stir with a wooden spoon
- Add the water and stir again
- Add salt and pepper and stir one last time
- Put the lid on and lower the heat
- Cook for 10’-15’
- Check from time to time if the water has been evaporated, if so add some
- Serve immediately with a bit of rice
