Welcome to this new edition of the solo food newsletter! In this edition you will discover 2 new recipes on how to make homemade brioche (!) and this without a stand mixer :-) All you need is an electric hand mixer with the accessory for dough, and that’s all! After making these recipes, you will have fine little homemade brioche and you will really worth it!

There are also two menus, one to invite friends, and the other to eat vegetarian! They are really good :-)

Brioche à tête

To make French brioche with an American recipe is somehow a big paradox, given the fact that I am in France ;-) But this fine recipe makes great brioche and easy! And even though, this brioche is not the same as the one I used to eat when I was a child in Greece, it’s not very far :-) Just try it :-) It’s really good and it’s up to you :-)

Swiss Brioche - solo food

Swiss Brioche

This is another recipe coming from the Great French Pastry Chef Christophe Felder because I really like him :-) And it’s sooooo gooood!!!! It has a filling (!!!) and this is with a light pastry cream and chocolate chips! And it comes in individual portions as to be able to manage better the quantity we eat! One per day is more that you can wish for, even if the Chef says that you can eat as much as you want! I wouldn’t suggest that in order to keep you in shape J Just give it a try, you really worth this nice brioche!

Holy Cow!

A new menu to invite friends and have fun! It uses the same dessert as other menus in the same category, which is the cake with lemon and roasted sesame! I really love this cake! The whole menu goes as follows… Starter – Sweet potatoes with parmesan served with some cherry tomatoes and some green peppers – Main Course – Veal stew with lemon, mustard, peppers, carrots and oregano – Dessert – Cake with lemon and roasted sesame! It’s really good and you surely will say “Holy Cow”!

So smart!

A new vegetarian menu is here, because it’s summer and it’s nice to eat fresh summer vegetables! Starter – Gaspacho with red pepper cooked in the oven – Main Course – Runner beans in tomato sauce (a Greek recipe called “fassolakia”) – Dessert Brioche à tête! In French when you say that someone is a “Grosse tête” (which is the title of the menu in French), it means that he or she is very smart! So when we are very smart, we eat the best there is! Your turn!
