Welcome to this new edition of the solo food newsletter! In this edition you will discover 3 new recipes coming from the Greek traditional cuisine and pastry and a very funny video regarding a French expression that goes as follows “français de souche”, which means a French citizen without any ancestor of foreign origin! I hope that my French friends will not be mad or insulted with this video but sometimes it’s better to say things as they are! Ridiculous and stupid at the same time!

This is a wonderful recipe coming from far away (!) and namely from Cappadocia! It really worth the detour, because at the end, it’s quite easy to make homemade fresh pasta, with a filling of ground meat, seasoned with paprika, and which is served with a light tomato sauce, and a cold sauce made with Greek yogurt spiced with paprika as well! It’s simply wonderful and quite surprising! Just try it and you will see :-)

It would be difficult while being at the Pays-Basque not to eat squid! But this time, squid is stuffed the Greek way with a Greek recipe in its light version J It contains rice, red peppers, onions and a pinch of Cayenne pepper just to give it some extra force! It’s really good and light so that you can eat it without any remorse and with no regrets!

This dessert is a pure delight! It’s so delicate… and even if it’s heavy on calories, I give myself the permission to eat some, now and then, because it’s really good! It’s almost majestic in its humble splendor (!) and this makes it even more interesting! Try it and you will see, it’s easy and 100% vegan! Your turn!

Being French with foreign ancestors can be tricky sometimes! Especially for some “français de souche” J Have fun with this video and stay open to other cultures because staying open makes us a better person! After all, it’s not a “français de souche” who invented the wheel :-) Keep in touch!
