Welcome to the first newsletter of solo food !

I hope that everything is well for you, your family and friends in this strange period for all...

solo food is very dear to me and I will try to share recipes but also other formulas on how to be happy, even alone, and propose books, music and later on other alternatives for going out.

I will also share my knowledge on how to eat delicious food but healthy as to lose weight or maintain weight loss.

To start, this week, you will find at solo food:
  • Red Lentils Soup (Velouté) with Cumin and Tomato: I started eating cumin in France and I love it. Furthermore, legumes are a satiating food, therefore recommended for a diet; they also bring to the body full of vitamins and minerals.
  • Bœuf bourguignon: It took me 10 years in France to start cooking really French (!). I avoided stews because I thought the meat was quite fat, nevertheless everything is in choosing the right proportions and the frequency you are eating this kind of food. So why deprive myself from something this good when I can eat a bit and from time to time?
  • Light French Flan – Three perfumes: The Flan is a classic French dessert but this recipe is the Weight Watchers version and in three variations, orange blossom, vanilla, chocolate/cinnamon. I don’t know which one is my favorite, but the real discovery for me was the orange blossom because we don’t have orange blossom in Greece. Chose yours :)
