Welcome to this new edition of the solo food newsletter! In this edition you will discover 2 new recipes with strawberries that are quite original! You will find a fine fresh salad with baby spinach, strawberries, feta cheese, and roasted pecans, and a cold soup with strawberries, balsamic vinegar and feta cheese also! Thanks to the salad, I tasted the combination strawberries and feta cheese and I really appreciated, so I reproduced in a more pure state as the strawberries in the soup are the main ingredient!

You are also going to find a list of recipes that are prepared in 30 minutes max (!), so it’s a good idea for people who are in a hurry!

There is also an article I wrote about a book I read by Paul Morand, who was a friend of Chanel, and he describes her life and depicts her personality in a wonderful manner! Actually, it is as if it’s Mademoiselle who wrote the book and she is telling the story herself! It’s really a nice book and I strongly recommend it! And, you can also find an article I wrote following my visit to Palais Galiera (the Fashion Museum in Paris), where we can see clothes dating from back to the 17th century until nowadays!

The idea to make this recipe came to me when I did the previous salad! So this cold soup with strawberries and feta cheese has this wonderful sauce with balsamic vinegar and coconut syrup that can be replaced by honey! It’s really good and even if the taste of strawberries is quite strong, it goes very well with feta cheese and the rest of the ingredients! Give it a try and see for yourself :-)

This article presents the book by Paul Morand with regards to Chanel’s life. It’s very interesting because we learnt a lot on her life and unique personality! The funny thing is that M. Morand wrote the book as if it was Mademoiselle who tells the story (!), and that changes everything! A beautiful exhibition at the Paris Museum of Fashion, Palais Galliera, where we can see clothes from the 17th century until today. It has an almost mystic character thanks to the soft lights that lighten up the exhibits! It surely worth the detour!
